It’s getting hot! The new capsule collection “Heat” by Helene Galwas promises exactly that. Hot summer days in the big city, feeling immersed in the urban jungle, breathing the rhythm and speed of urban vibes and enjoying life. And with a focus on sustainability, slow fashion and maximum modern lines.
The collection of the NEW FACES AWARD winner 2020 is inspired by modern urban planning, complex architecture and lines in a skilful interaction and in connection with nature – the urban jungle of our times. Contrasts such as urbanity and nature, big city speed and slow fashion, classic black and white combination and exciting neon, in the perfected harmonious sound as the new rhythm of modern people are convincing in this unique capsule collection.
Again, the label has placed great emphasis on sustainability. The reborn parts in basic styles with puristic cuts give old fabrics new life with a new finish – according to the motto “Circular Fabric Standard”. As always, production takes place in the studio in Hanover and in small production facilities in Poland and Portugal.
Clear lines and comfort in extra wide, airy trousers, flowing dresses and cool basic looks set the tone. Also special is the use of white waffle iron piqué, ultra-light cotton-silk and light-colored fabrics, which provide down-to-earthness and earthiness as an anchor to the contrasts of the bright highlight pieces. SS 23 highlights and new are the swimsuits, bikinis and Alena dresses in neon colors – a futuristic announcement for dealing with the heat of everyday life in a cool way.
