Helene Fischer has been on a “360° stadium tour” for a few days. She is also celebrating her 20th stage anniversary. It is their largest concert tour to date with space for more spectators than ever before.
The next stop on the program is Frankfurt. Fischer will play concerts at Deutsche Bank Park on Friday (June 19) and Saturday (June 20). There are still plenty of tickets available, especially for the first gig. However, both performances are under the impression of extreme heat.
Like the whole of Germany, the Main metropolis is also in a heat bubble with high temperatures of up to 38 degrees on Friday in the Hesse region. Visitors should therefore prepare early for the ongoing heat stress. This means appropriate clothing for both Friday and Saturday (light, airy clothing made from breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen) and sunscreen (at least sun protection factor 30). It is important to drink enough (at least 3 liters).
In the Deutsche Bank Park It is possible to carry non-alcoholic drinks in an unopened Tetra Pak up to 0.25L. Although no information has been released at this time, it is likely that free water coolers will be installed on site.
Warning of extreme heat – storms with heavy rain possible
The German Weather Service not only warns of heat on both concert days, but also of possible storms on Friday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely in some areas in the afternoon and evening. There may be heavy rain, squalls and hail. A local extreme situation with correspondingly large amounts of rain cannot be ruled out. The current rain radar (via WetterOnline, as of June 19th at 10 a.m.) currently shows that it could rain between 6 and 9 p.m.
At Helene Fischer’s open-air concerts, many people are on the indoor surface to be directly in front of the 360-degree stage. Instead of a frontal stage, the singer moves in the middle of the stadium, on an elliptical catwalk with two side exits. The spectators are correspondingly unprotected should a storm actually occur.
