Only a few days ago, Heidi Willman was diagnosed with an intestinal problem.
Heidi Willman44, is glad he made it Vole– program’s press conference. Willman says that on Sunday, February 15, he was admitted to Jorvi Hospital in Espoo due to severe stomach pains. He also developed a high fever and inflammation levels were elevated.
– I had to undergo contrast imaging. I got the feeling that what is going on here, Willman recalls to Iltalehti.
After the examinations, the doctor diagnosed Willman with diverticulitis, i.e. inflammation of the intestinal sac. Duodecim Health Library according to the inflammation, bulges or diverticula have formed in the wall of the large intestine, which when inflamed cause severe pain, fever and nausea.

Willman says he always thought he ate healthy.
– I eat a lot of fibers and vegetables, or at least I thought so. Now I had such an intestinal problem and a diagnosis, so I thought, what the hell? Haven’t I been living healthily, Willman says in amazement.
– However, the doctor said that it is a common Finnish problem.
Now he has eaten oatmeal and plans to pay more and more attention to his diet in the future.
– Now I have to live with these pains and swelling for a few days. However, I have also experienced the more serious side of getting sick in my life, so fortunately everything is fine, and there was nothing really serious, Willman sighs.
In 2016, Willman was unexpectedly hospitalized and underwent contrast imaging. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was operated on a month after the diagnosis.
– Of course, I was afraid that I would have to go on that trip again. Fortunately, I didn’t, but this stopped me again, he continues.

Ten years since the diagnosis is also a significant number in the sense that Willman’s regular routine check-ups at the municipal health care end.
– I will continue to have regular blood tests and follow-ups. Cancer has left the feeling that even a stomach ache like that should immediately see a doctor.
Willman is used to speaking about health issues in public. That’s why it was completely clear to him that he also tells his new diagnosis openly to his followers and the public. However, Willman feels that intestinal issues are not talked about as openly as other health problems.
– However, the intestine is really important and connected to everything. It is important to talk about things like this, and not always say that everything is fine.
– You also know your body best and what sensations should and shouldn’t be there. If you get the slightest feeling that someone doesn’t feel normal, you have to go to the doctor. The earlier the treatment, the better the chances, whatever the finding.
