Heavy industrial fire at Sidegro in Roeselare under control

The large smoke development could be seen from very far away. The fire raged at Sidegro, a company on Trakelweg in Roeselare, which specializes in demolition work and container rental. A warehouse has completely burned out. The fire brigade quickly arrived and managed to contain the fire. The city called on local residents to keep windows and doors closed, but also to switch off the ventilation. The smoke could be toxic and there was also a risk of explosion. It is not the first time that a fire has broken out at the company.
