The BG Göttingen from the Basketball Bundesliga continues to rely on head coach Roel Moors.
The Belgian’s expiring contract was extended by the club by two years until 2024. The Lower Saxony announced this on Tuesday. Moors came to Göttingen in the summer of 2020.
“The position of the head coach is extremely important for the success of a club – continuity in this position is an important building block,” said BG Managing Director Frank Meinertshagen.
In the last main round, the Göttinger recorded the best record in seven years, but missed the playoffs as tenth in the table.
