Why does she hate Ali? “That has to do with his head, among other things. He always has his mouth open and I don’t think anything annoys me more than people who have their mouths open.”
Elif: “I understand that, because that really radiates stupidity, doesn’t it?
Kitty: “Yes. I just don’t get why people do that. You feel that your mouth is open, don’t you?”

Why is Ali always hanging his mouth open? Elif: “I think it has to do with the fact that he has an overbite. He kinda has that, doesn’t he? Maybe your mouth will open automatically. Or he doesn’t know how to breathe through his nose.”
Kitty: “He doesn’t know how to shut his mouth.”
Elif: “I have the feeling that we are now on a scary path. I have that feeling.”
