Ronald Molendijk causes a lot of irritation with his continuous mucus at Glennis Grace. It’s because of types like him that the juice channels have become so popular, says Victor Vlam.

It seems that Shownieuws expert Ronald Molendijk really does not miss a TV appearance to give his good friend Glennis Grace a slime shower. He tries with all his might to help her back in the saddle, but gets a lot of criticism for that. Last week he alluded to a musical comeback of the Tokkie singer.

Criticism of Ronald

Victor Vlam, the media expert who was regularly seen at the Shownieuws desk last summer, lashes out at Ronald. “Roland Molendijk is someone who is really friends with Glennis and has also said that he called her on the day of the interview with Eva Jinek,” he says in the podcast The Communicados.

He continues: “That is often someone who plays the pro-Glennis Grace sound non-stop. Every once in a while I think this is why some people go to juice channels. I think it is very important that RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws realize that those juice channels are really competitors and that they must act with integrity.”

Conflict of interest

Show sections have to realize that the viewer can’t take all that favoritism anymore, says Victor. “Maybe they shouldn’t let these people speak on these kinds of topics for a while, because the conflict of interest is just too great. If this were political, we wouldn’t accept it. I think you should practice pure journalism.”

The fact that Ronald alludes to a comeback from Glennis is just inappropriate, according to him. “I also find it hurtful that there were some people sitting at tables who are in her camp and who then immediately start talking about how she can come back from this.”

insult

Victor thinks Ronald completely misses the point. “If people who are in her camp then start doing that, and are already openly speculating about it at the moment… I think that is really an insult to the victims. You saw Ronald Molendijk do it last week at HLF8. I think that’s really problematic.”

He continues: “Richard Korver has explained that the victims are really traumatized. Then I think, you know, don’t sit around and speculate the day after the trial if she can come back. Then just say: ‘Right now it’s about the victims and not about Glennis Grace, that’s for a later phase.’ That would have been a much more appropriate response.”

Clarice

Incidentally, Victor thinks that they should also be careful at Boulevard. According to him, it is no coincidence that Glennis has chosen the law firm where Clarice Stenger also works, the house lawyer of the program. “She has a financial interest in it ending on a positive note for Glennis.”

Finally, does Victor have a tip for Ronald? “If you’re her best friend, just lay low.”
