The Vitruviusman is one of the most famous works of art in Da Vinci. It shows a naked man with vast arms and legs in a square and a circle. He made it around 1490. Da Vinci wanted to show body relationships with it, such as the Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio who had described earlier. The drawing symbolizes harmony and relationships in the human body.

It is an enigmatic work. How did Da Vinci succeed in placing the human figure in a circle and a square? That is the question to which mathematicians have been trying to find an answer for years. Now Dentist has Dr. Rory Mac Sweeney from London discovers a hidden detail in Da Vinci’s masterpiece, which he believes is the answer. He recently published A new interpretation From work.
Hidden triangle
He discovered a hidden triangle. “The triangle that sits between the man’s legs is not just a random shape,” says Sweeney. For example, it would match a little known concept, called the ‘triangle of Bonwill’. In dentistry it is used to understand how human jaws work. “The fact that Da Vinci used this form in a drawing from 1490 points to his ingenious insight into the human body. Modern science did not even exist at the time,” it sounds.
The ‘Vitruviusman’ is one of the most famous works of art by Da Vinci.
When you have one of these triangles in the Vitruviusman Used, you can calculate the ratio between the size of the square and the circle. You then come out 1.64, almost the same as the important number 1,6333. Also called the ‘special blueprint number’. You can find it in the most efficient structures of nature.
Leonardo da Vinci is one of the best known inventors ever.
The ‘blueprint’ that nature uses for efficient design can therefore be found in the human body. “Da Vinci knew or felt that our bodies with the same mathematical elegance were built as the universe around us,” says Sweeney.

Sweeney believes that he has solved the mystery that the Roman architect Marcus Vitruvius Pollio gave up for the first time for the first time. He said that the human body has harmonious proportions and suggested the theory that it could fit perfectly into a circle and a square, but he never indicated how that could be.
