RTL continues to stick to the much-discussed press photo on which Jamai Loman looks like a kind of blown Madame Tussauds-Pop. Tina Nijkamp does not understand. “He can cry for it!”
RTL provided a shock when it brought out the press photos of the new The Voice of Holland and The Voice Kids in the spring. The people were shocked by what Jamai Loman looked like. Angela de Jong wondered who the man was for God’s sake (“I thought it was Rogier of Palace for a Prikkie”) and Tina Nijkamp baptized him into Jamai.
To howl
Tina, also known as Tina Telraam, is very shocked now that she discovers that RTL is still using that press photo and apparently continues to use in the run-up to the Voice Revival.
She publishes on her analysis canal A comment from one of her spies, who says: “Been so much drama (and logical too) for the Madame Tussauds photo of Jamai, then you would expect that with further expressions they will adjust this or use another photo? Jamai can also cry for this?”
Tina: “Yes, indeed.”
Photographer calls
According to Tina’s spy, what is the solution? He says: “Calling the photography and turning off its facetune and releasing the photo. I sometimes pull my hair out of my head (by way of) why this is not picked up. It literally takes a minute.”
Finally, Tina: “Ask for RTL: Why don’t you replace/improve Jamai’s press photo at The Voice? So that he looks less like a wax image? Better for Jamai too, he will not be happy with this photo either.”
According to Jamai, the photo was not edited. Apparently there is a slightly more rigorous, ehh … filter.
