Hay bale wall moved by order of judge | Inland

Bergen resident Dirk Kat, millionaire and owner of supermarket chain Dekamarkt, had placed a wall of about sixty hay bales in front of his neighbor Wouter Hubers. As a result, Hubers no longer had a view.

Kat has a gigantic meadow, those hay bales really didn’t necessarily have to be in front of Hubers, according to the judge. It looked a lot like bullying, was his verdict earlier this week. It was not accepted that Kat intended the hay bale wall as support for the protesting farmers. It looked as if there was a fight between them.

The bales had to go within four days. Otherwise Kat would have to pay 10,000 euros per day.

The judgment has now been heeded. The bales are now out of sight in a corner of the pasture.
