Streamers who showed Premier League football matches will be jailed. Five people have been jailed for showing illegal streams of Premier League football matches. The length of the sentences is 3–11 years. The BBC reported that the criminals made a total of 7.2 million pounds, i.e. around 8.3 million euros, by selling, among other things, foreign match broadcasts to British football fans, which were otherwise not shown on the country’s television.
