Ruud de Wild is quite disappointed in Gerard Joling now that the singer has spoken so badly about the harassed radio DJ on television. “Have you heard from him yet?”
Gerard Joling spoke out quite fiercely about Ruud de Wild just before the weekend. The No More Boleros singer made mincemeat of his real life soap and also called the radio DJ a ‘very unsavory’ person to look at. And that hurts Ruud a lot, because Gerard was very nice the other day when they met.
Call Gerard?
How is this case now? Sidekick Gijs Hakkert asks Ruud in the latest episode of his radio show: “There are still some questions in response to those ‘unsavory’ statements by Gerard Joling. Inge wonders if you have heard anything.”
Yes, says Ruud. “Dave Heijnerman, the plugger who was there, I’ve known all my life. He just texts, “I hope you don’t mind, but Gerard asked for your number.” But Gerard is only allowed to come here on the radio program. Together with Eva Jinek! And Wilfred Genee!”
‘Can’t get around it’
Gerard has to, says Gijs. “So we now know that he has asked for your number in the meantime. He can’t ignore it either, can he, because it was literally everywhere today.”
But didn’t Ruud say he was invited to Gerard’s birthday? Didn’t he already have his number? “I had received an email or an app or a DM about his birthday, so that was not with his phone number, so… Anyway…”
‘It lives in this country’
Gijs hopes that Ruud with a follow up comes. “Are you going to share it with us at the moment…”
Ruud: “Of course.”
Sidekick Bettina Holwerda, Jim Bakkum’s sweetheart, hopes for a confrontation between Gerard and Ruud on the radio. “It’s like that in the country, guys, so we just have to do it here, right!”
“A bit fake!”
What does Yvonne Coldeweijer think of this fight? After hearing Ruud’s story, she notices her juice channel on: “Well, a bit fake of Geer. 😂”
And private boss Evert Santegoeds in Show news: “I don’t know what possessed Gerard. He is not known for arguing with a lot of people in the world.”
Dyantha Brooks: “No, he’s not really into mud slinging, is he?”
In terms of content, Gerard is right about Ruud’s soap, says Evert. “I watch all programs once and there was every reason to watch this program only once.”
