The small but fine luxury offensive of FC Bayern Munich opened the 63rd Bundesliga season with a masterful goal show against RB Leipzig. In the 6-0 (3: 0), the attack quartet with the triple goal scorer Harry Kane (64./74./78 minute), double packer Michael Olise (27th/42. Minute), newcomer Luis Díaz (32nd) and the brilliant Serge Gnabry the 75,000 spectators in the sold -out alliance arena.
The fact that the Munich offensive seems to be too thinly set up was no role on matchday 1. The supposed 1: 4 of the overwhelmed Leipziger by the Antonio Nusa (66.), which had substituted for the break, was revoked with great delay. Castello Lukeba had simply started with the ball on the foot when performing a free kick.
“I just want to win the game. The players we have are able to do that,” said Bayern coach Vincent Kompany before kick-off at “Sky”. Like sports director Max Eberl, the Belgian sees an urgent need for action in the attack department. The requirement of the supervisory board around Uli Hoeneß – borrowing instead of buying – however, makes Eberl the task.
Against the Leipziger, in which the new coach Ole Werner experienced a very bitter evening at the start of the league, the Munich team needed around 25 minutes after the Supercup win against the DFB Cup winner VfB Stuttgart. Then it struck three times in the goal of the Péter Gulácsi, which was well held until then.
At the first goal of the new season, Olise successfully completed a Munich attack by the center. It was his first Bundesligator with the weaker right foot. A brisk combination like at the Playstation over Kane and Gnabry Millions of Díaz concluded with a massive shot under the crossbar. And Olise laced his double pack at the presentation of Gnabry, who was allowed to dribble through the center of all Leipzigers.
After the break there was Kane’s big hat-trick show. The top scorer of the past two seasons presented a triple pack in its third Bundesliga season. “German champion only becomes the FCB”, fervently chanted the delighted Bayern supporters.
A revelation was also a national player Gnabry, who acted very dynamically, imaginative and by train to the goal in the tens position. The 30-year-old was involved in several goals. Only the crowning glory of his own hit was missing: a deflected shot from him landed on the latte (40th).
The record champion also had everything under control. However, there was also very little from the Leipzigers, which new coach Werner is supposed to lead back to international business after the crash in seventh place in the previous season.
The Dutch Xavi Simons, who would still like to change, was not a factor in his last RB game. Nothing came from the new attackers Yan Diomande and the Rômulo, which had substituted for the break.
