Ami and the Italian hat manufacturer Borsalino are cooperating on a hat capsule.
The French label is teaming up with Borsalino to release felt floppy hats, the brands announced on Wednesday. It will be available in burgundy, green and black.
Ami founder Alexandre Mattiussi has always dreamed of creating the perfect hat “that underlines an outfit and defines a personality,” according to the statement. The result is French design and Italian craftsmanship.
Borsalino has been making luxury hats for over 165 years. The manufactory in Alessandria, in the Italian region of Piedmont, has been producing since 1857.
The hats are part of Ami’s SS22 collection and will be available in the brands’ stores as well as in their respective online shops.
