Harry Potter book Save from garbage can: first edition auctioned for £ 21,000

A rare first edition of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ has been saved from the garbage of a deceased man. The book went under the hammer at NLB Auctions on Saturday in the English town of Paignton, with bidders in the hall, on the phone and online. The item was auctioned for 21,000 pounds (around 25,000 euros).
