Harry Mens reveals in conversation with Gerard Joling which party he voted for in the elections, namely the PVV. “I voted for Geert Wilders,” said the Business Class star.
There are many stars who are known as left-wing or admit that they voted for the VVD, but there are hardly any celebrities who say they voted for the PVV. Of course you have the Meilandjes, who have been very critical of Islam, but after that it quickly stops. Now Harry Mens also indicates that he has gone for Geert Wilders.
‘That girl’ Dilan
When Gerard Joling is a guest in his program Business Class, the gentlemen are talking to each other about VVD leader Dilan Yesilgöz. “I’m a bit turned off by that girl from the VVD in general. What her whole mindset is like,” the entertainer says at one point.
He continues: “I understand that it is very difficult to govern with the PVV, but ultimately that man has been in office for twenty years and he has simply received the most votes.”
‘Wilders is good’
Harry then speaks very positively about Wilders. “But apart from that: the man is just fine, but he just needs to tone down a bit and he will do that. And if Rutte has received the appointment from NATO, Rutte will allow her to participate in the cabinet again.”
Gerard again: “Yes, they talk to each other four times a day about what they are allowed to say and what they are not allowed to say, of course. We understand the game.”
All kinds of girls
Harry is no longer so impressed by the VVD. “Of course you have all kinds of girls there. Girl Hermans and you still have a few of those ladies and he still serves them. He is still the boss.”
Gerard: “I thought she was… The arrogance, you know, before you’ve had the conversations you immediately say: ‘No, I’m absolutely not going to do it.’ But before the elections she excluded no one and said: ‘We can easily govern with the PVV.’ I actually think it’s a bit of a cat for all voters who voted for the VVD.”

Well, that’s not entirely correct. Harry corrects him: “I voted for Geert Wilders.”
