Funding lock: Kane lacks Bayern in the top game

FC Bayern is thinned out. Another player will be missing in the coming week – but not because of an injury.
Striker Harry Kane will miss the top game between FC Bayern at RB Leipzig next Saturday (from 3:30 p.m. in the T-Online Live ticker). The reason for this is a lock. In the duel with FSV Mainz 05, the Englishman received his fifth yellow card in the current season – because he didn’t want to give up the ball.
Kane received his first warning in the duel with VfL Wolfsburg at the start of the season (3: 2), then tickets followed in the home game against RB Leipzig (5: 1), in the 2-1 victory against SC Freiburg and in the 3-1 win VfB Stuttgart.
The rule was introduced in the Bundesliga in the 1979/80 season. At that time, however, professionals received a lock after four warnings. In the 1993/94 season, the rule was increased to five cards.
