Before the CL clash in Madrid
Bayern’s final training: news about Harry Kane
April 6, 2026 – 12:17 p.mReading time: 1 min.
Harry Kane was missing from Bayern in Freiburg. But he could be back on the pitch on Tuesday.
FC Bayern can probably rely on their goal guarantor Harry Kane again in the Champions League clash with Real Madrid. The English star striker took part in the final training session for the quarter-final first leg in the premier class (from Tuesday at 9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online) with a smile on Monday afternoon. Whether he can really be in the starting line-up at the Bernabéu will have to be decided at short notice and on site.
Kane had to miss the German record champions’ Bundesliga game last Saturday at SC Freiburg (3-2) due to injury. The 32-year-old suffered a blow to his ankle during training with the England national team.
Bayern coach Vincent Kompany emphasized before the SC game that he was “rather positive” about Kane playing in Madrid. Sports director Max Eberl said afterwards: “We’ll do everything.”
Kane has only missed three of Bayern’s 43 competitive games this season – Munich won all three. In the Bundesliga in Freiburg and on March 6th against Borussia Mönchengladbach (4:1) and four days later in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League in Bergamo (6:1).
