Harry Kane has already scored 12 goals this Bubdesliga season. The striker likes to pass on his knowledge to talented people, as Mathys Tel now explains.

Mathys Tel played 83 games for FC Bayern. The striker moved to the Premier League in the summer and has been under contract with Tottenham Hotspurs ever since. However, his contact with Munich has not been broken off. He is still in contact with one star in particular: Harry Kane.

The Englishman currently leads the top scorers list in the Bundesliga with 12 goals and was highly praised by Lothar Matthäus. The German record champion wrote in his column on Sky: “I don’t see a better striker in the world at the moment.” However, Kane is not aloof – quite the opposite. He wants to make talent like Tel better. The former Bayern player revealed this in an interview with the English “Telegraph”.

“Harry Kane helped me a lot. Four days ago he sent me a voice message and we talked about how I can improve in terms of finishing and positioning in the penalty area,” said Tel.

The 32-year-old also told him: “If you want to call me, just call me. We’ll talk and try to find out what the best training is for you.” Tel Matthäus also agreed and also said: “For me he is the best striker in the world.”

Receiving advice from someone like that means a lot to Tel. However, Harry Kane also made it clear that Mathys Tel could also get in touch if he wanted to talk about topics outside of football. “If you don’t want to talk about football but rather about life, I’m always there for you,” Tel continued.

Kane has been under contract in Munich since summer 2023. Tel came to the German record champions in the summer of 2022 and was part of the team until February of this year before he was loaned to Tottenham. After the loan ended, the Premier League club took the striker on permanently.
