Harry and Meghan adopted a 7-year-old rescue beagle.

Prince Harry and the duchess Meghan have taken a new pet, says Daily Mail.

The couple adopted a 7-year-old beagle named Mamma Mia. The dog was one of four thousand beagles rescued from a US animal testing center. The dogs were bred with the intention of selling them for medical research.

Mamma Mia is now getting a new home in a $14 million royal mansion in Montecito, California.

Harry, Meghan, Archie’s3, and Lilibet1, the household already includes the beagle Guy and the labrador retriever Pula, as well as chickens rescued from the factory.
