Track cyclist Harrie Lavreysen has secured the national title on the keirin in Apeldoorn. The ANP reports this. The winner of three gold medals at the Olympic Games in Paris was too strong for Jeffrey Hoogland in the final in Omnisport.

“This was certainly not the easiest title to achieve this year, but I am also happy with this jersey. What a year this was,” said Lavreysen, who will also compete in the sprint at the National Championships.

In the 500 meter time trial for women, the title went to Kimberly Kalee, who managed to leave Steffie van der Peet behind. Brian Megens (men) and Mischa Bredewold (women) secured gold in the individual pursuit.
