Haris Seferovic explained the meaning of the crescent and star tattoo! The Turkish flag tattoo on Seferovic’s arm…

While reporting Haris Seferovic, whom Galatasaray transferred from Portugal Primeira Liga giant Benfica on loan, to KAP made the yellow-red community happy, his tattoo about Seferovic and his t-shirt, which he showed after the goal celebration, came to the fore again.

So, what does the crescent and star tattoo on Seferovic’s arm mean? Who is Tuğçe and why did he dedicate his goal? Here are the answers to these questions…

INSPIRATION TUGCE

Playing for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2014, Seferovic showed Tuğçe Albayrak’s name on a t-shirt after scoring a goal in the match against Borussia Dortmund.

As it will be remembered, Tuğçe Albayrak helped and saved 2 German young girls who were harassed by young people of Serbian origin, and then she was battered by a youth of Serbian origin.

Albayrak, who was found to have had a cerebral hemorrhage in the hospital he was taken to, died of brain death on 26 November and was buried on 3 December.

T-SHIRT SOLD MONEY DONE

Seferovic delivered the T-shirt to the Bild newspaper, which he showed to the audience after the goal he scored in the Eintracht Frankfurt-Borussia Dortmund match, with the inscription “Tugce=Marital courage, angel, courage, respect”.

The proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt, which was put up for sale by Bild, were donated to the “A Heart for Children” organization.

CRESCENT STAR TATTOO ON LEFT ARM

Another feature of Seferovic that draws attention from Turkish fans is the Crescent Star tattoo on his left arm. Answering GS TV’s questions after signing for Galatasaray, Seferovic explained the reason for the tattoo on his arm as follows:

“I’m Bosnian and Muslim. I got this tattoo because it’s a symbol of Islam. It’s one of my favorite tattoos.”
