King Harald of Norway was hospitalized in Tenerife on Tuesday.

The court’s press release states that the treatment has worked well and the king has recovered quickly. He will be released from the hospital on Thursday.
Harald was hospitalized on Tuesday in Tenerife, where the royal couple was vacationing. He was treated for infection and dehydration.
The court’s press release states that Harald and Queen Sonja will continue their private vacation in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Their return date has not yet been decided.
The press release says that the king’s psychiatrist who traveled to the place will stay to monitor Harald’s recovery for a few days.
