Krüger also back in U23

Lukas Hinterseer (32) is no longer a member of the FC Hansa Rostock professional team. As the relegation-threatened second division team announced on Thursday, the Austrian striker will play for the reserves in the Regionalliga Nordost until the end of the season, when his contract expires. In the first half of the season, Hinterseer made eight short appearances in which he failed to score.
During the winter break, several conversations were held with the player and his agent in which they were advised to change clubs, as Hinterseer no longer plays a role in coach Mersad Selimbegovic’s plans. However, no takers were found. In addition to Hinterseer, who has only scored two goals in 31 games for Hansa Rostock since 2022, homegrown Joshua Krüger (19) also has to return completely to the U23s for the time being in order to be able to concentrate exclusively on one team.
