A transformed penalty and a later joker goal Hannover 96 gave the victory in the duel between the promotion aspirants near Fortuna Düsseldorf. The Lower Saxony prevailed 2-0 (0-0) in front of 37,590 spectators in the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital.
Boris Tomiak put the team of the new coach Christian Titz in the lead with a converted penalty (65th minute). Joker Benjamin Källman made the decision and the second success of the season five minutes after his substitution (87th). For Fortuna under Daniel Thioune, the defeat after the 1: 5 with promoted Arminia Bielefeld is another damper at the start of the season.
Braunschweig surprised with a second victory: 3-2 against Fürth

First victory after 25 years: Magdeburg dupies Dynamo
