Hannover 96: Valmir Sulejmani to FC Ingolstadt – Tom Trybull’s contract terminated

Two departures

Hannover 96 has found a buyer for the athletically sorted out Valmir Sulejmani. The 25-year-old striker is moving to league rivals FC Ingolstadt 04 six months before the end of his contract. Sulejmani has only made five short appearances for the 96 professionals this season, in which he remained goalless.

“In Valmir Sulejmani we were able to sign a technically skilled striker who will always cause danger in the center with his determination and a very good shot,” said FCI manager Malte Metzelder. “We want to help him to reach his full potential again. He’s hungry for goals and has all the skills that characterize our football. We have a great task ahead of us. With the signing of Valmir, we are convinced that we will increase our offensive threat in the remaining 14 games, but also beyond the season.”

Sulejmani added: “The talks with those responsible went very well, and I’m now looking forward to the first sessions with the team. I’m absolutely convinced of the quality of the team, now I want to do my part to ensure that we bring this onto the pitch in the remaining games.”

On the Hannover 96 side there is also another departure to report with Tom Trybull. The contract of the 28-year-old was terminated by mutual consent, a new club has not yet been determined.
