Hannah Mae from Nieuw-Weerdinge has won the Zilveren Notekraker 2025 tonight. The national prize was awarded tonight in Poppodium Hedon in Zwolle.
The Zilveren Notekraker is an incentive prize for a striking newcomer on the Dutch stages. The Hague band Son Mieux won the Golden Notekraker 2025. The band was chosen by fellow artists for the act with the most special and influential live performance of the past season.
The organization behind the prizes, consisting of musician union NTB, production house Dutch Performers House and copyright organization Sena, said about Hannah Mae that she is “a growth diamond” who convincingly conquered the Dutch stage landscape. ” “She shines at festivals and effortlessly fills large halls. What makes her performances special, among other things, is the combination of intimacy and strength.”
The organization Neomde Son Mieux “a new generation of live heroes that sets every audience with style, energy and craftsmanship”. Other nominees for the Golden Notekraker were Joost and Sef. The prize was won last year by Jungle by Night.
A third prize, the Humble Heroes Award, went to bass player and session musician Janneke Nijhuijs. This prize goes annually to an unknown but influential musician unknown to the general public. Nijhuijs played with Krezip, Douwe Bob and Thijs Boontjes.
