In the statement made by İnegölspor, “Our club made a statement on 20.12.2022 that former football players, goalkeepers Emre Selen and Sercan Çobanoğlu, made match-fixing against İnegölspor, and a criminal complaint was filed by the İnegöl Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. In the light of the data and information obtained as a result of the rapid and sensitive research and studies carried out by the Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor and Bursa Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM), the suspects named within the framework of match-fixing on 27.03.2023, Emre Selen, Sercan Çobanoğlu, and 4 more suspects identified in İnegöl The statements of the above-mentioned suspects and 4 other suspects were taken, and 5 people, including Emre and Sercan, were referred to the İnegöl Criminal Judgeship of Peace on 29.03.2023, with a request for arrest and one suspect for judicial control. And the goalkeepers Emre Selen, Sercan Çobanoğlu and 3 other suspects, who were sent to detention by the İnegöl Criminal Judgeship of Peace, were arrested and sent to prison on the same day.

Due to these vile actions, the city of İnegöl, İnegölspor club and İnegölspor supporters have suffered a lot and our interests have been damaged. Nevertheless, we are somewhat happy that those who committed these treacherous acts against our club received the necessary treatment in front of justice at this stage. As always, we will try our best to ensure that they receive the necessary punishments at the end of the trial and we will follow them. As we have stated before, we present to the public that we will fight against those who betray the efforts of the İnegölspor community, our glorious supporters and managers.”
