In 2022, Vijverberg started as a trainer at SEW. He was then 25 years old the youngest trainer ever in the premier league. Vijverberg brought the North Hollanders back to the handball top of the Netherlands. The absolute highlight was reaching the final for the national championship last season. It was then lost to VZV.
SEW is currently fifth in the Premier League with 21 points from 14 matches. The top of the Netherlands is close this season, as Kwiek is first with 24 points from 14 games.
