Arthur Langedijk will say goodbye to SEW at the end of the season. The handball coach of the Eredivisie team has decided, together with the club, not to extend his contract.
SEW reached the play-offs in 2020 under Langedijk. After the outbreak of the corona virus, that season was not completed. The competition was also ended early last season.
This season, the team from Nibbixwoud is in fifth place in the women’s Eredivisie. In November SEW was eliminated from the last 32 in the EHF European Cup after an exciting diptych.
Under Langedijk’s leadership, fourteen players from their own youth have made their debut in the first of SEW.
