Handball player Noordink stops, Strauven to Bocholt | 1Limburg

Handball player Annika Noordink stops playing handball after a successful season at Handball Venlo. Pieter Strauven is moving from Limburg Lions to Bocholt in Belgium.

The final match for the Dutch championship is Noordink’s last achievement. The middle builder has decided to end her handball career.

Social development
The 26-year-old handball player played for V&L, Dalfsen, DOS and the Belgian Sint Truiden in the past. She wants to focus on her social career.

Lianne van Sleeuwen
With the stop of Noordink, Handball Venlo will once again lose a fixed value for the middle build-up place for the coming season. It was previously announced that Lianne van Sleeuwen is leaving the club. She is going to try her luck in Sweden at GF Kroppskultur.

Strauven finds shelter at Bocholt
Strauven continues his career at Achilles Bocholt. There was no place for the Belgian mid-builder at Lions, after the 23-year-old handball player indicated earlier this season that he was looking for a club in the French league. In the end, Strauven failed to reach an agreement with a French club. But his place at Lions has now been given to the German Tobias Weiler.
