Amsterdam – The floor in the Budapest arena was for a bunch of frenzied Dutch handball players. After another thriller and a hard-fought 32-31 win over Portugal, they wrote history by qualifying for the second round at a European Championship. With this, the men are finally coming out of the shadow of the Dutch women, who have been among the global top for some time and became the best in the world in 2019.
