Mid-term conclusion:
The German handball players are 9:13 behind at the break of the European Championship main round match against the selection of France. The DHB team made an offensive false start and quickly fell behind 0:3 (6th). They caught up again in the 12th minute thanks to a series of missed shots. In a phase dominated by the defensive lines and the goalkeepers Darleux and Filter, the opponents initially moved in step, with the French putting themselves in significantly better shooting positions and the Germans lacking power from the backcourt. This was also noticeable on the scoreboard, as the reigning Olympic champion pulled away from 6:6 (17th) to 12:7 (25th) by better exploitation of chances. The best German thrower so far is Grijseels with five goals. See you soon!
