The Bundesliga handball team at MT Melsungen get their first win of the year at the end of March, ending their crisis for the time being.
MT Melsungen celebrated its first win of the year in the Handball Bundesliga on Thursday. After the North Hesse ended their negative series last weekend and at least won a point in Hanover, they now won 26:23 at TVB Stuttgart and thus ended their crisis.
Even with the Swabians, who were threatened with relegation, the MT had to tremble for a long time. Despite a four-goal half-time lead, things got really tight again in the second half and the Melsunger wobbled alarmingly. Led by Timo Kastening, who scored seven goals, the MT caught on and ultimately won, just as deservedly as it was narrowly.
