The Dortmund women surprisingly played the game in Neckarsulm without their coach André Fuhr. It remained unclear whether this was possibly related to the terminations of the two players.

BVB does not want to accept the resignations from Zschocke and Berger. At the beginning of the week there was already a crisis meeting in this regard, further talks are to follow. The parties involved are silent about the reasons for the terminations. Representatives of the contact point for violence and abuse in top-class sport also took part in the meeting last Monday.
Bietigheim stays up
After the win, Dortmund remain in the top group, together with three other teams that also won the first two games of the season. Bietigheim is at the top of the table thanks to a high 44:23 win against Waiblingen.
