Hamilton celebrates anniversary with a show in Bruges concert hall

Hamilton has been involved with music almost all of his life, and has traveled the world. As icing on the birthday cake, there is also a biography with a lot of anecdotes.

Patrick Hamilton: “I actually come out of my comfort zone behind the scenes a bit. Now I work with the musicians I always work with in the studio. It’s Hamilton and friends. The whole stage is filled with friends, musicians and friends”. One of those friends is Ingeborg, she will perform an adaptation of her song ‘If that happens’ from 1991.

DIFFERENT GENRES

Patrick has been involved in music since he was seven. His piano albums on Spotify have been listened to millions of times. His track record as a producer includes songs by Johny Logan, but also schlagers by Willy Sommers, Laura Lynn and even the Plopdans.

Patrick: “I’ve never wanted to pin myself down to one genre. Always as much variation as possible. Also for my own life and ability. My greatest successes were in England with four number one albums. There’s a big difference in genre between ‘let the sun in your heart’ and ‘Katherine Jenkins’, which is classic, but I like that myself and get a lot of satisfaction from it.”

As icing on the cake, a biography about Partick Hamilton will also be published. An arsenal of stories and anecdotes about his rich career as a producer. But that doesn’t mean it has to stop for the music producer: “During corona I had to do an album with Placido Domingo. But that was canceled then, I think that’s a bit of a shame. I still have a lot of ambition. There are still a few paths that I haven’t walked in my career. I’m thinking about film scoring, for example. I’ve wanted to do that for years but never had time, I’m going to make time for that,” the producer concludes.
