Hallesche FC clearly won the basement duel against SpVgg Bayreuth and left the relegation zone in the 3rd football league.
Coach Andre Meyer’s team defeated the promoted team 3-0 (2-0) and jumped up to 16th place with 13 points. Bayreuth remains at the bottom of the table with nine points.
Tom Zimmerschied (41st), Jonas Nietfeld (45th) and Dominik Steczyk (74th) scored for the home side, who are unbeaten in three games.
