Ordinary General Assembly in Giresunspor was held in the facilities of the green and white club. In the general assembly chaired by the current chairman, Hakan Karaahmet, with a single list, besides the agenda items, some items were voted and accepted in accordance with the law numbered 7405, which entered into force on April 26, 2022. Giresun Mayor Aytekin Şenlikoğlu, former presidents of Giresunspor Mustafa Temel Bozbağ and Sacit Ali Eren attended the general assembly meeting, which ended after the speeches. 141 delegates attended the general assembly of Giresunspor, which has 238 delegates. The current president, Karaahmet, who received the votes of 134 delegates who voted, was re-elected as the president.

Making evaluations to the members of the press after the general assembly, Chairman Hakan Karaahmet stated that they have had successful seasons since the day they took office and said that they now need to reach new successes.
