Haim announced her fourth album with i quit – during her show in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 23. There was also a live taste: they played the already known new singles “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out” and “Relationships”, but also the previously unknown “Blood on the Street” and “Down to Be Wrong”.
I quit and the many possibilities of how the sentence continues
The sister trio has integrated the LP news in the stage background. So the words at the gig were first to read. This was followed by sentences that all began with i quit: “I quit what does not serve me”, “i quit overthinking”, “i quit shame”, “i quit dick” and “i quit caring about what you think”.
Finally, with “I Quit New Haim Album Coming June 20th”, the concrete album announcement by Este, Danielle and Alana, for which the fans had been waiting for a long time came.

More about the Haim
Danielle, Alana and Este Haim already appeared together as children, in 2012 their first EP Forever appears. This was followed by a contract with Polydor Records, appearances as an opening act by Mumford & Sons and Florence + The Machine. In 2015, the siblings from Los Angeles received a Grammy nomination in the “Best New Artist” section.
Her third studio album was entitled Women in Music Pt. III – a small hint with the fence post to all clichéd interview questions á la “How do you feel like a woman in the music business?” The record was released in 2020 – with i quit there was the successor five years later in June.
