According to a media report, striker André Hahn will remain with Bundesliga club FC Augsburg for another year. As the “Augsburger Allgemeine” reported in its Friday edition, the 31-year-old’s contract was automatically extended. Hahn told the newspaper: “I had a clause in the contract that said if I play a certain number of games within four years, the contract will be extended for another year.”
The former national player has been under contract in Augsburg since 2018. With the game at VfL Bochum (2-0) on the last matchday, the agreed number of games was achieved. “I had signed for four years, now my fifth is coming and I’m very happy that it happened like this. We’ll see everything else then,” said Hahn, who is now tied to FCA until the summer of 2023.
