Hafthor ”Thor” Björnsson took the victory by unanimous decision of the judge Eddie Hallista in a six-goal match in Dubai.

Match marketing to the heaviest boxing match ever. Hall’s match weight was 142 pounds, Björnsson’s up to 152 pounds. There was also a lot of bad blood between the two before the match.

Björnsson, having played with clearly better technique, dropped Hall on the surface of the ring several times, but the British continued the match with perseverance. Hall also managed to get Thor’s shot under his feet once, but in part the situation looked like Björnsson slipped in the ring. The Icelander who won the victory also had the advantage of a significantly better dimension.

During the match itself, the biggest criticism was for the stream of the match offered by Segi TV for free. The broadcast was cut like a puck in league rush hour spikes in the “good old days”. Most of the boxing matches were certainly not seen live, completely or almost completely, by many.

After the match, however, the duo had a good pot. Thor said the hatred on his part is over.

“Eddie still seemed a little angry, but it was definitely partly due to a loss,” Björnsson said.

The Icelander also gave credit for the punch, after which he visited the surface of the perimeter.

– I’ve never been dropped in training. Today, however, technology won, Thor said.
