Hadewych Minis and Jacob Derwig have a chance this year to win the Theo d’Or and the Louis d’Or, respectively, the theater prizes of the Association of Theater and Concertgebouw Directors (VSCD). The Theo d’Or prize is for the most impressive female lead. In addition to Minis, Charlie Chan Dagelet, Sien Eggers and Janni Goslinga are also nominated.
Jan-Paul Buijs and Bram Suijker are the other two nominees for the Louis D’or prize. That’s the award for most impressive male lead.
The VSCD also announced the nominations for the Colombina and Arlecchino on Tuesday, for the best female and male supporting roles, respectively. The theater awards will be presented on 11 September during the Gala of the Nederlands Theater in International Theater Amsterdam.
