A 22-year-old man from Haarlem died this morning after a collision with a truck. That happened on the Kanaalweg in Beverwijk.
The accident took place around 11:10 am. The car and truck collided head-on at a roundabout. Many emergency services were called to the accident, but that assistance was of no avail.
The police are investigating the accident. The role of the truck driver is also under investigation. Witnesses are asked to report to the police.
