Guns N’ Roses new music coming soon? This is indicated by a video that is doing the rounds on social media. It shows the band playing a song on stage during the sound check. Although the video lasts less than 30 seconds and contains no vocals, my fans still recognize a previously unreleased song.

The video was originally shared live on Instagram by guitarist Slash’s girlfriend, Meegan Hodges. On Reddit, fans unanimously agreed that it must be the track “Oklahoma”. It originally came from the sessions for “Chinese Democracy”, the band’s sixth album, which was released in 2008 after numerous postponements after a 15-year wait.

Axel Rose promised “Oklahoma” back in 2000

Back in 2000, singer Axl Rose had one in one Interview with ROLLING STONE talked about a track called “Oklahoma”, which the interviewer even got to hear as an instrumental. Fans believe they identified the track in a 2019 leak that included numerous demos from the “Chinese Democracy” sessions. And they now want to have recognized this leaked song in the sound check video.

Guitarist Slash said in January that the band was working on new material. A new album is also planned. Earlier this year, Guns N’ Roses released the four-track Hard Skool EP. Two of them, “Hard Skool” and “ABSUЯD” were previously unreleased, but are also from the “Chinese Democracy” sessions. The other tracks were live versions of earlier tracks.

According to reports, that album was originally planned as a trilogy, with a total of 72 tracks recorded as demos – more than enough to fill a few records.
