When she was 33, the TV presenter became pregnant for the first time, but she was unable to hold her baby. A Long and Emotional Journey
Today, Gülcan Kamps is a proud mother of two, but it took nearly a decade to reach this point. She recently revealed on Instagram that her initial pregnancy did not bless her with the joy of holding her newborn. “The entire journey from wanting a child to actually having one has very little to do with wishes,” she stated. Since 2004, Gülcan has been in a relationship with entrepreneur Sebastian Kamps (45). The couple tied the knot in a live wedding televised on ProSieben in 2007. Their first child was born at the end of 2021, and they are expecting their second in April 2026, keeping their children’s names and genders a secret.
Gülcan’s reflection encapsulates hope: “At some point, I found new strength and kept believing in my dream of a family.
