Gulacsi and Poulsen were injured with their national teams

Leipzig (AP) – Captain Peter Gulacsi and striker Yussuf Poulsen of Bundesliga soccer club RB Leipzig have been injured in their national teams.

The Hungarian FA said Gulacsi picked up a minor injury in training and will not be traveling to Belfast for the game in Northern Ireland. As RB announced on Twitter, the goalkeeper had muscular problems in the adductors. Poulsen will also be absent for Denmark’s game against Serbia in Copenhagen.

The 27-year-old will also be absent from Borussia Dortmund on April 2 (6:30 p.m. / Sky), the club said. Poulsen sustained a slight muscle injury in Denmark’s 4-2 draw in the Netherlands on Saturday and was substituted just before half-time.

Poulsen last had to pause from mid-November to the end of last year with a torn muscle fiber. In the past few weeks, the Dane had regained more playing time. Leipzig coach Domenico Tedesco primarily relies on the duo André Silva and Christopher Nkunku in attack. Poulsen often only has the role as a joker. He scored one goal in ten league games this year.
