In the interview, Moreno assured that the government of Javier Milei “He is not doing well” and stated that his economic scheme “has already failed.” In this framework, he maintained that the current electoral support of the ruling party responds to a sum of inherited votes: “He got the votes that Macri got, added to Macri’s: those are the votes he has today.” He also stressed that Peronism has a greater electoral flow, although he warned that there is “a decisive band” that defines the ballots.
However, the former official stated that today Justicialism faces difficulties in appealing to that electorate because it must first resolve a fundamental strategic definition. “Is it pro-Chinese or is it ‘America for Americans’? If Peronism does not resolve that definition, where does it call from?” he asked, quoting Juan Domingo Perón: “True politics is international law.” “That group must be called, because it is what ultimately makes you win an election,” he concluded.
In this context, Moreno confirmed his launch as a presidential candidate for 2027 and rejected that it is premature. “It is not early to launch my candidacy.
