Guido, how did you start working on this platform?
Abrazarte was born in 2019 from an idea created by my grandfather and his partner, after going through difficult personal experiences linked to the hospitalization of their own parents in nursing homes. From that experience they detected a very clear problem: the lack of centralized, reliable and transparent information for families when looking for a nursing home.
I joined the project when I was 18, while I was training in digital marketing, and it was also my first work experience. From that moment I understood the enormous challenge that many families are going through and also the opportunity to modernize a market that still remains poorly digitized.
The pandemic stopped the initial development, but years later I returned to the idea within the framework of my thesis on Digital and Interactive Communication at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, where I decided to transform it into a more scalable, useful digital platform aligned with how today people search for information and make decisions.

What problem does Abrazarte seek to solve?
Looking for a residence for a loved one is usually an emotionally difficult and often exhausting decision. Today it continues to be a poorly digitized process, with dispersed information and little clarity when comparing options, which generates uncertainty in families when choosing.
Abrazarte seeks to organize and simplify this process, providing greater clarity and facilitating a more informed decision according to the needs of each family.

Specifically, what does Abrazarte offer?
Abrazarte is a free platform for families looking for residences for seniors. It allows access in a single place to clear and transparent information to search, filter, compare and contact residences directly.
Within each profile, families can consult location, services, price range, photos, videos and opinions of other families.
For residences, it works as a visibility tool and generation of real queries, without entry fees or intermediaries.

How are you looking to simplify this process for families?
Abrazarte is committed to autonomy and transparency. We want families to be able to access as much information as possible to decide for themselves, in a simple and direct way.
The objective is for them to be able to compare options more clearly and find residences aligned with their needs, simplifying a process that is often complex and exhausting for families.

How has Abrazarte been working since its launch?
Since its launch, Abrazarte has exceeded 150 thousand visits and currently has more than 65 residences within the platform.
These results validate a real market need and show a growing interest from both families and residences in more digital, transparent and efficient solutions within the sector.

How do you project the growth of Abrazarte?
My goal is for Abrazarte to become the reference platform for searching for nursing homes in Argentina. Just as other sectors already have platforms that organize and facilitate searches, I believe that the world of residences also needs this evolution.
I seek to continue adding more residences, expanding coverage and adding functionalities that help families find options that are increasingly aligned with their needs, simplifying a process that is often complex and emotionally challenging.
