The anticipation for “Grand Theft Auto VI” (GTA 6) has reached a new level as Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the start of pre-orders and unveiled exciting details about the Ultimate Edition and various bonus packages for buyers. Prices have also been announced.
Pre-orders for “GTA 6” and the “Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition” will commence on June 25, 2026, at midnight local time. The open-world adventure is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Players will have the option to purchase the game digitally or in physical format. Those who pre-order digitally will be able to start downloading the game from November 12 and play on release day. The physical version will also be available starting on November 12, but it will include a download code instead of a physical disc.
Official Prices for “GTA 6” Confirmed
Rockstar has revealed the pricing structure for the US market for the first time, with the Standard Edition priced at $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition will be available for $99.99. Official prices for the European market have yet to be disclosed, but many media outlets speculate roughly 80 Euros for the Standard Edition and about 100 Euros for the Ultimate Edition. A final price confirmation for Germany and Europe is still pending.
“Vintage Vice City Pack” as a Bonus for Early Buyers
As a special treat, buyers of the game will receive the ‘Vintage Vice City Pack.’ This bonus package is included with all pre-orders and will also be available to players who purchase “Grand Theft Auto VI” before November 20, 2026.
The pack features various nods to the legendary Vice City. Included are a classic 1955 Vapid Stanier along with a Shore-Court Garage in Ocean Beach, exclusive outfits, hairstyles for main characters Jason and Lucia, and a special weapon skin inspired by iconic Vice City gangster Tommy Vercetti.
“Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition” Enhances the Gaming Experience
Alongside the Standard Edition, “Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition” will offer an expanded gaming experience.
This edition will feature additional vehicles such as the 1995 Grotti Cheetah, the Vapid Dominator Buggy, and the Shitzu Squalo boat. Buyers will also gain access to exclusive garages, vehicle modifications, extra clothing, tattoos, hairstyles, and weapon variants for Jason and Lucia.
Moreover, the Ultimate Edition includes unique activities within the game world, such as exclusive content surrounding the gang “PTT Youngin$,” special vehicle restorations, and additional customization options for vehicles and characters.
According to Rockstar, the content of the Ultimate Edition will unlock progressively throughout the game. Players who initially opt for the Standard Edition will have the option to purchase the Ultimate upgrade separately later.
Free Month of GTA+ for Digital Pre-Orders
Those who pre-order GTA 6 digitally via the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store will also receive a free month of GTA+.
This subscription offers monthly GTA$ credits for “GTA Online,” bonus deals for CashCards, access to selected vehicles, discounts, and additional advantages in the online mode. The free month will be available immediately after pre-ordering.
Note that after the free month, GTA+ will automatically renew at the standard price unless the subscription is canceled in time.
