Rafe Nadal He is already in Turin to play the Masters Cup, from November 13 to 20, to extend his record with a trophy that he has never won, now called the Nitto ATP Finals.

The eight best tennis players of the season participate in the ATP Finals, despite not having the presence of Carlos alcaraz, due to injury to the current number one in the ATP ranking. The aforementioned Nadal, Casper Ruud, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Novak Djokovic are the eight participants.

GROUPS AND FORMAT OF THE ATP FINALS

They are divided into two groups of four (green and red) and the best two of each group access the semifinals, with crossed duels between first and second.

  • Green group champion – Red group runner-up
  • Red group champion – Green group runner-up

In the green group are: Rafael Nadal (ENG), Casper Ruud (NOR), Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN) and Taylor Fritz (USA).

In the red group are: Novak Djokovic (BE), Daniel Medvedev (RUS), Andrew rublev (RUS) and Stefanos Tsitsipas (GRE).

2022 ATP FINALS SCHEDULE

The group stage It begins this Sunday the 13th and will last until Friday the 18th of this same month of November. The afternoon session starts at 11:30 CET (doubles) and 14:00 CET (singles).

The evening session begins no earlier than 18:30 CET with a doubles match and at 21:00 CET with the other singles match of the day.

The semifinals will be held on November 19one at 2:00 p.m. CET and 9:00 p.m. CET.

The final will be a day later, on Sunday, November 20. The individual at 7:00 p.m. CET, before the doubles will have been played from 4:00 p.m. CET.
